Lelo Mia 2 packs a nice punch in a small lipstick vibe: it boasts a motor with twice the power, more program patterns of vibration, and is waterproof.

Holding the “+” and “-” button simultaneously for 3 seconds locks the vibe for travel, repeat to unlock. A handy feature so at the end of your journey your Lelo Mia 2 will have retained its charge and you can alleviate travel stress. The continuous variable vibration mode has distinct settings between the high and the almost barely there low. Once at the highest constant vibration setting press and hold the “+” button for 2 seconds, when you release you will find yourself in the first of 5 patterned vibration programs, every push of the “+” cycles you through to the next. At anytime pushing the “-” button returns you immediately to constant vibration mode.

Housed within is a Li-lon battery for great standby time in your bag. The “lipstick” cap held in place by a twist lock exposes the USB charge plug when cap is removed. Simply plug it into the USB port on your computer or a USB power adapter and in one hour you are set to enjoy up to 1-½ hours of playtime. Revisiting how convenient Lelo Mia 2 is for travel; if you are already traveling with a laptop you have your “vibe charger” with you so no extra cords to carry. Smooth gloss ABS plastic with a silver band. The buttons are covered in a silicone skin for durability.

One last note for the old-school folks: Mia can go quite low so if you were a fan of the Mini Pearl’s lowest setting, you might want to consider the upgrade!

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: (1) The “+” and “-” a controls are covered in a silicone skin – do not press these with fingernails as you can tear the silicone. Charger troubleshooting: (2) Vibe must be on “Lock down” before being charged. This means it must be fully drained and the only way to know that it is totally down for the count is to ensure that the red light comes on when you try to power it. (3) When the red light comes on find a spot that offers an ideal charging environment (where it won’t get nudged or bumped during the charging period … so that the charger plug stays put) and then make sure to fit the charger plug securely into your power socket. It shouldn’t be dangling; it should be plugged in. (4) Then plug the charger into your vibe and make sure the connection is tight. The area where the red light was visible should now be flashing a blue/white light … this is ideal. (5) Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the toy to recognize the charger as the nature of its motor is to “wake up” the battery with a low/slow initial charge before it goes “gangbuster”. If the battery charge light does not “flash” try holding the control pad down for a few seconds… watch the light come on and then turn off, now it’s on lock down and is charging. (6) Final Note: We did find one toy whose light didn’t flash, but it did hold a charge so do wait for the full three to four hour charging period to see if the toy has picked up its charge before concluding that you are out of power.

Not compatible with silicone or oil based lubricants. To clean, use a cloth dampened with water and a mild antibacterial soap or a sexual product cleaner. Air or towel dry. An adult toy cleaner MUST be used if you have a vaginal infection (i.e. yeast infection) that can be harboured on your vibe. Do not get water near the USB compartment. If you fear you’ve gotten water into the USB compartment, take off the cap and let the compartment air-dry.
